TRAVIS FOWLER
Travis Fowler is a third-generation musician. His Grandfather, Lloyd toured the US with the National Hillbillies as their guitarist and vocalist. He also played the banjo, pedal steel, harmonica and even the fiddle.

Travis' father, Warren played guitar and sang for parties and dance halls around the Chetwynd area in the 70's and 80's. Some of Travis' favorite memories came from watching his two music idols play. "My Grandfather would play the banjo in his kitchen, while his retired police dog would dance on her hind legs. It was awesome times on his farm".

When Travis' dad wasn't playing onstage or logging, he would play around the kitchen table, the back porch or around the campfire after working the cows. This is where Travis' music performance education began. His father would sing various classic country music hits such as the songs of Hank Sr, Don Williams, Don Gibson, Tom T Hall, and his favorite Johnny Cash.
While out hunting, or fishing Travis' Dad would share with his young son the history of country music and how it related to the cowboy way of life. Lessons Travis has never forgot.

These early influences can be heard in Travis' music today, mixed with high energy influenced by the music he discovered in his teens. Traditional country with an edge.
