Featuring a rhythm section like no other, the sharp dressed trio consists of "stand and play" drummer, Sean E. Watts and bassist, Teddy Twotone Roy, who doubles on both electric and upright bass. Fronted by Randel Lewis Bailer’s spirited vocals and howling Gretsch guitar, audiences are left feeling like they've witnessed elements of Stray Cats, Black Keys and Green Day all on the same bill. As evidenced by their performances at Roots, Blues, Rock, Folk and Jazz festivals, Punch Drunk Cabaret's combination of infectious originals and reimagined remakes resonates with an incredibly wide range of music fans. Their fiery delivery has made them a natural support act for artists as diverse as Trooper, Sheepdogs, July Talk, Bif Naked and Reverend Horton Heat. Steadily building a fervent following that’s accustomed to driving hours to catch the band live, PDC became the first ever Alberta based act to win top honours at both the Edmonton AND Calgary Music Awards. Despite Covid-19's shut down of all live events in 2020, the band defiantly released their fifth studio album,Vampire Anthems, finishing out the year by contributing three tracks and a performance cameo to the short film, Boneyard Racers, resulting in two international awards for Best Soundtrack.
